Flatwork

Depending on your experience and knowledge of the concrete business, you might be asking: what is flatwork? Flatwork is a poured surface moved along a horizontal plane i.e. it’s work carried out when we pour concrete and push it along the ground in order to create a flat and level surface.

Flatwork involves making a wooden frame to fit the area where the concrete is going to be poured. WE do this to make sure the concrete is perfectly level and contained.

Then our team builds a support base to help prevent future cracking and wear to your concrete. Once the concrete is set, we remove the frame and you will be left with a high-quality surface that will last for many years to come and retain that perfect finish. 

Flatwork concrete is a great choice for any work because of its fantastic durability. It may have a higher cost than some other surface materials, but it will not succumb to the same damaging forces that may destroy other materials- leaving you to peacefully enjoy your property.

For example, concrete is far more resistant to subsidence, tree roots and rain damage than any other surfacing material.
